Dr. Amanda Nichols Amed completed dental training at Columbia University, and obtained her undergraduate degree at McGill University in Montreal. Dr. Amed grew up in the sailing and fishing towns of Marblehead and Swampscott, MA. Her New England roots defined her love for the ocean, sailing, and seafood. During her time at McGill, while completing a biochemistry degree she also devoted herself to research later published in a number of medical journals. An avid traveler, Dr. Amed’s holidays have taken her and her husband to places like Bhutan, Kenya, Thailand. Her brand of dentistry is based on concepts of care, a personal connection with her patients, a comprehensive approach, and the ability and desire to listen to her patients' needs.
