Dr. Andrea M. Mattia opened her practice in Old Tappan, New Jersey in 2004, after practicing for more than six years in Tappan, New York. She is a graduate of the New York University College of Dentistry, with four years of post-graduate training. She completed three years at the Montefiore Medical Center, including two years in the department of pediatric dentistry. In addition, Dr. Mattia completed a fellowship at the Rose Kennedy Dental Center, specializing in the treatment of children with special needs. Dr. Mattia is board certified by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and has extensive training and practice in all phases including preventive, restorative, minor orthodontics, esthetic, and hospital dentistry. She currently has staff privileges at Nyack Hospital in Nyack, New York. Dr. Mattia is an active member of the Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and is a diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Mattia lives with her husband and three young children in Northern New Jersey. She volunteers at her children's school as a lunch aide and works on various committees throughout the school year. She is also an active member at her local church.
