Dr. Andrew Whiteman is the oldest son of Dr. Gerald Whiteman. He has very similar feelings and attributes as his father and so followed his foot steps into the dental profession. After graduating from New York University Dental School in 1993, he then was accepted and completed a two year dental residency at Brookdale Hospital in NYC. This intense two year program gave Dr. Whiteman tremendous amount of hands on experience in all phases of dentistry especially dental implantology. He had the good fortune to train and work side by side for two years with the internationally famous author, lecturer Dr. Norman Crainin. In 1995 Dr. Whiteman joined his father in practicing dentistry in Old Bridge, New Jersey. We shortly found out that it was critically beneficial to have the oral surgeon and the restorative dentist working side by side in the same office. This is especially true with the consideration of implant dentistry. It is very important in all phases (Pretreatment, Diagnosis, Surgical and Restorative Phase). New Jersey Team Dental was formed after realizing that this was a very beneficial and successful concept for both the doctors and the patients. Within the same professional office building, the practice was expanded and rebuilt as a state-of-the-art, multiple dental group in 2005. Dr. Whiteman’s vision of how to practice modern dentistry is being showcased in a very warm and comfortable patient setting. He is an active member of the American Dental Association and New Jersey State of Dental Association. In 2011 Dr. Andrew Whiteman was selected by his dental peers and voted Top Dentist in New Jersey 2011, listed in New Jersey Magazine.
