Beware of this dentist! I have been going to this dentist ever since she opened this office. She is fine... until SHE makes a mistake, which she will make YOU pay for.I went in for a routine cleaning last week. I felt a jarring when she cleaned one part of my teeth. A couple of hours later, a huge piece of filling that was in that area that I felt strange about fell out, leaving a gaping hole in my tooth.I went back to the office for an emergency appointment. When I made the appointment, I told the receptionist that the filling was loosened and fell out due to the cleaning. When I saw the dentist, I told her the same thing. She proceeded to giggle and re-do the filling. I was surprised when she charged me a co-pay of $18, since I thought she would waive it due to it being her fault it fell out. I paid it anyway because it was a small amount and I wanted to be nice and help her since I could tell her office wasn't doing all that well. After I left the office, the receptionist actually called me to demand an additional $78! She let it slip that it could have been $15 TOTAL if I had chosen another type of filling. The problem is, I was never given a choice at the time!! The dentist had upsold me without my knowledge to the much more expensive filling... which I was forced to get because SHE knocked out my current one!I have spent many minutes on the phone over the course of a week with these people to request a courtesy discount or waiver of the additional fees due to the circumstances, which they should take responsibility for. After many calls, I finally got through to the dentist herself. I explained to her again that it was due to her cleaning that the filling I have had just fine for a very long time fell out two hours after she did the cleaning, and told her it was unethical that she did not give me the option of choosing what type of filling I wanted and upsold me without my knowledge. The dentist's response was the most spiteful and absurd response I have ever heard in my life. She not only refused to extend a courtesy discount - get this!!! - she said if I wanted to pay less, she wanted to TAKE OUT THE FILLING THAT SHE GAVE ME THAT IS IN MY MOUTH RIGHT NOW, AND PUT THE CHEAPER ONE IN INSTEAD. I was floored and felt violated. It's not like she can resell a cavity filling - it's going straight in the garbage! It's like if I bought a cupcake from a bakery and got diarrhea from food poisoning, and I asked the bakery for a refund, and the baker telling me, "FINE, if you want your money back, I want my cupcake back! I don't care if I can't sell diarrhea, I'm just doing this to spite you." Except, it's my actual mouth and my actual tooth we're talking about that she wants to maliciously tamper with.I calmly told her that I was done fighting for this and she's wasted enough of my time already, and that I would pay the amount she demanded, but I would be canceling all my future appointments. She basically responded, whatever, eff you. This is no way to treat a long-term patient. I am appalled by how she spoke to me - don't be fooled by how she's typically seems goofy and giggly and affable. I don't see her business lasting long if this is the way she handles HER OWN mistakes. I never write reviews, but I had to write this one. I've never been treated this way before.
