Dr. Hochman received his dental degree from the SUNY Stony Brook. Following graduation, he joined the Nassau County Medical Center as a general practice dental resident and was appointed chief resident. Dr. Hochman obtained a certificate in periodontics at the NYU College of Dentistry. He received advanced training in implant dentistry at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and a postdoctoral degree in orthodontics from NYUCD. He is one of the very few practitioners in the US to hold specialty certificates in both orthodontics and periodontics. He is also the inventor of an advanced computer-controlled local anesthetic delivery system and is currently the director of clinical affairs and a consultant for a medical technology company.
