Dr. Nancy Gergis graduated in 2001, obtaining her BDS degree from one of the top Schools of Dentistry in the Middle East. After working a short time at her Family Dental Center with both parents and her brother in the Middle East, she was selected to complete a multi-disciplinary hospital residency at Alexandria Research Dental Center ARDC. This residency provided her with advanced training in all the specialties of dentistry including treatment of medically compromised patients. Dr. Gergis then moved to the United States and worked as a Dental instructor for dental assistants, then decided to have her second degree as DDS from New York University College of Dentistry. After graduation she immediately started to work as an associate dentist and currently at the Washington Dental Associates. Dr. Gergis is a member of the American Dental Association ADA and the New Jersey Dental Association NJDA. Dr. Gergis' diverse background has given her a better understanding of our patients, their fears and their treatment. Patients often come to our office feeling anxious about their dental visit from previous experiences, but with confidence she eases those fears and provides gentle and an advanced dental experience. She enjoys the challenge of providing family dentistry in a comfortable, friendly and pleasant environment. Dr. Gergis is heavily involved with the raising of her two children. They all enjoy traveling and doing outdoor activities.
