Dr. Bhatt is affiliated with the American Psychiatric Association, American Medical Association, and American Medical Writers Association. He applies his neuroscientific approach to psychiatry, assisting his patients by exploring how neurons and neurocircuitry can be repaired after injury, stress, development issues, or disease to restore mental functionality. Dr. Bhatt began his medical education at the New York University, receiving his undergraduate degrees and his Master’s in neural science. He then attended SUNY at Stony Brook and NYU School of Medicine to receive his medical doctorate in humanities and his PhD in neurobiology and behavior. Dr. Bhatt then completed his post-doctoral fellowship with Cornell at the NYU Skirball Institute. Afterward, Dr. Bhatt completed his residency at the New York Presbyterian Hospital of Columbia and Cornell. Dr. Bhatt assists his patients overcome many issues including, but not limited to obsessive compulsive disorder, depression, anxiety, alcoholism, and grief.
