 Isn't sure about this doctor

How was your experience with the doctor? The wait was slightly long and the receptionists weren't that amigable, but Dr. Nanda made it all better. As a high risk patient he explained things thoroughly and made me feel like I was in the right path with his help. He made me feel comfortable.

How was your experience with the doctor?I am surprised at all of the bad comments. I would say, try him out for yourself before you let any of these comments sway you. I came to Dr. Nanda as a high risk patient (currently 33 weeks) and i am so glad i did. My sugar was out of control and he has helped me manage it. Dr. Nanda listens to my concerns and addresses them in the most heart warming way. He never makes you worry too much and DOES return calls. You have to understand he has 2 offices and many patients; therefore, he is a very busy man. As for the extra chromosome test, this is in fact true; however my insurance covered it. I felt at ease knowing he wanted to make sure everything was good with my baby. Thanks to him i have learned to manage my diet and have only gained 6lbs so far due to the plan we initially created for me in regards to eating. If you are looking for a doctor who truly cares and knows what he is doing, I suggest you put yourself in the hands of Dr. Nanda. Yes you will have to wait sometimes, but again, he has many patients. I visit his new hyde park office and have no issues. The girls are wonderful, polite and helpful. The office manager is amazing as well. Trust me when i tell you, Dr. Nanda is the best.

How was your experience with the doctor?I was referred to doctor Nanda as a high risk patient for bp issues during my pregnancy. I came to see him three times. The first time, I waited an hour and a half. The team did not take my bp even though I said I was there as a high risk patient for bp. The second time I went, I went for an anatomy scan which followed a chromosome test (harmony). The doc ordered an additional Chromosome test which was odd because he said that the chromosome test had good results. He said that the second test's results were not as accurate but ordered it anyway. The additional test is something my insurance company won't pay for because it was redundant. The third time I went, the wait was two hours. All he did was measure my blood pressure. My fourth visit was cancelled bc the office called to try to get me to see him in Long Island and not in queens bc they scheduled too many patients in queens. They considered this a courtesy call. In total, it was a waste of time to see this doctor as a high risk patient. He sees many other non risk patients and doesn't really flag which patients are or are not high risk. He has very few office hours and the staff schedules 10-20 patients for the time slot. I have since left the practice. I am still working w my insurance company to cover this additional test. This is my second pregnancy and both were labeled as high risk so I can definitely compare this doctor's services with my previous providers at NYU.

How was your experience with the doctor?Left me stuck with $900 bill from my insurance by refusing to say, he recommended I get genetic testing, when he did. I was peeing blood, but the office didn't return any of my calls as weeks passed. I didn't go to my next appointment after his GROSS INCOMPETENCE. His office claimed they contacted my insurance, they never did. I also called up and BEGGED for a RX for a bad UTI I had, again no one ever called me back and I wound up going to my local urgent Care for treatment; Who ironically, called me to see if I was ok, because "I'm 8 months pregnant, he was concerned and wanted to know if the amoxicillin worked" how sad is it when URGENT Care calls you, but your own obstetrician doesn't give a crap?? This man is beyond greedy and just books as many patients as possible, to likely send money to his family back home. He has no regard for his mostly high risk patients, or how much medical attention or lack thereof they receive. He's incredibly greedy to the point many, very pregnant women,  literally stand outside his teeny tiny packed Rego park office because there are no seats left in his waiting room; as they wait to be called, sometimes hours after their scheduled appointment. He's just an apathetic, ice cold man. Literally the worst doctor I've ever had, I wouldn't send my worst enemy to him.

How was your experience with the doctor? These Doctors are amazing. Wonderful bedside manners, always informative and genuinely care!! They stood by us through every difficult turn in our pregnancy and celebrated with us when our little boy was born safe. They go out of their ways even to ensure that your hospital visits are comfortable. Can't praise them enough. Look no further if you want to be in safe hands!! Yes the wait is sometimes long but they are both on call at LIJ so things happen and they always have a lot of patients. Well worth the wait! I saw them every 2 weeks while pregnant.

How was your experience with the doctor? My original apt with this doctor was 6:40pm. The office called and changed my apt to 7:20pm the next day stating that I would be just waiting if I came at 6:40. I get to my apt at 7:10pm. The place is so packed there are people waiting outside. There is nowhere for me to sit. I requested to be called when I am the next patient. 8:00pm pass, no phone call. I call at 8:30pm and was told maybe I'll be seen at 9:00pm. It's cold outside and I have been on my feet for hours. I make the decision to go home. At 9:15pm I get a phone call from the office it's finally my turn. All that really means is that they are ready to put you in a back room where you wait another hour for the doctor to come in. By the time they called I was already in a cab going home. How can a medical professional treat patients like this? Why would they book so many people knowing the doctor can't see them all and there is not enough office space to seat them all. By the time I got home my feet were swollen and my body ached from walking around. What a complete waste of my time. I went home feeling subhuman. The staff could care less that I was out in the cold waiting for hours to be seen. They claim the doctor takes his time to speak with patients. This is completely untrue. During my previous apt I waited hours just for him to spend 2 minutes talking to me.

How was your experience with the doctor?I only write reviews when I feel incredibly compelled to do so. So here goes. I was under the care of Dr. Nanda throughout my pregnancy. He is thorough, knowledgeable, gentle, incredibly experienced and always listened to my concerns . He truly cares about the well-being of his patients and their babies. He delivered my baby and I felt so safe with him. Emmanuel Pafos (another doctor in the office) is also amazing. Give them a try, I'm sure you won't regret it!

How was your experience with the doctor? Its been six years since the delivery of my second child but I will never forget the care I was under with Dr. Nanda during my pregnancy and delivery.  I was a high-risk patient who developed Polyhydramnios during my pregnancy.  I was hoping to have a normal delivery since the c-section with my first child (not under Dr. Nanda's care at the time) and Dr. Nanda was supportive of my choice until I became high risk.  He was the most informative, kind, knowledgeable, realistic doctor.  I was also a gestational diabetic and he advised thoroughly on my diet.  I can't really place into words how safe I felt with him.  Due to my Polyhydramnios, I was getting really large and the prospect of delivering the baby sooner was a decision to be made.  However, Dr. Nanda, made sure the rights tests were made to make sure the baby was developed enough.  Since the baby wasn't, he held my delivery off for a week, with a watchful eye on me.  There was also a possibility that since I was so large, my uterus would not have gone back to normalcy.  Dr. Nanda, delivered my full term baby - via c-section, cared for my uterus right after surgery and I healed.  Even during my maternity leave, I would call Dr. Nanda with my concerns and he would give the best advice.  Very grateful for the kind services of the office staff as well (always a greeting smile).  And forever grateful for the care of this wonderful Dr.  Please don't hesitate to be in the care of Dr. Nanda.Note - Polyhydramnios - could cause a heap of delivery complications - so it was definitely a scary moment in my life but as I've mentioned Dr. Nanda played a vital role in my pregnancy mental and physical health during this time.

How was your experience with the doctor?I will suggest Dr. Nanda to everyone, very knowledgeable and helpful, after having a bad experience with my first delivery I choose this office for my second pregnancy with twins.....and I am very happy with my choice......Dr. Emmanuel Pafos did a scheduled  c-section for me because my kids was in wrong position....he did a great job, very thankful, I got recovered a lot faster than after my first vaginal delivery. Thank you very much for all your care of me and my little twins.
