Edward A. Fisher, MD, PhD, MPH, is the Leon Charney Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine at the New York University (NYU) School of Medicine. At NYU, he is also the Director of the Center for the Prevention of Cardiovascular Disease and Director of the Marc and Ruti Bell Program in Vascular Biology. He is a graduate of the NYU School of Medicine and received his clinical training at Duke and Harvard. He also holds a PhD from MIT in biochemistry and nutrition and was a post-doctoral fellow at the NIH in molecular genetics.
