Born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, Dr. Goddard attended Arizona State University and graduated cum laude, before completing a certificate in Premedical Studies at Columbia University. She attended Mount Sinai School of Medicine and completed residency at Montefiore Medical Center and returned to Mount Sinai Medical Center for training in Endocrinology, Metabolism, Bone Disease and Nutrition. She has a particular interest in diseases of the adrenal glands and served as the Fellow in Adrenal Disease at Mount Sinai Medical Center. She has presented her research at the Endocrine Society, the American College of Cardiology and the American Physiological Society, where she received the award for Predoctorial Excellence in Research.
