Howard A. Grossman, MD, is board-certified in Internal Medicine. He earned his M.D. at SUNY Downstate College of Medicine in Brooklyn and his B.A. at Haverford College. He did his residency at Kings County Hospital and established his private practice as a primary care physician in 1987. He is a Senior Attending Physician at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center. Dr. Grossman is recognized around the world as one of the best and most knowledgeable primary care physicians treating HIV and AIDS today. As a resident at Kings County Hospital, Dr. Grossman saw some of the first cases of AIDS to appear in the United States. Gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender health issues and the rights of people with HIV are very important to Dr. Grossman, as are end-of-life issues.
