Dr. John Dubaz grew up in New York City and attended Millbrook School before receiving his AB degree in Physical Sciences from Harvard College. He then attended St. George’s University School of Medicine and completed his pediatric residency at Bridgeport and Yale-New Haven Hospitals serving as Chief Resident in his final year. Dr. Dubaz joined Darien Pediatric Associates in 1989. He is on the medical staff at Stamford Hospital, and holds a teaching appointment as Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is Board Certified in Pediatrics. Dr. Dubaz is a member of the Connecticut Chapter of the AAP Committee on School Health and has served as School Physician for Stamford Public Schools. He is particularly interested in learning problems and ADHD in elementary school children. He enjoys basketball, bicycling and skiing and is fluent in Italian and also speaks Spanish.
