Currently serving at the Greenwich Hospital in Connecticut, Dr. Linus Abrams, is an accomplished psychiatrist with more than 20 years of medical experience. Since 2009, Dr. Linus Abrams has served as Director in Greenwich Hospital’s Department of Psychiatry. In this capacity, Dr. Linus Abrams is broadly responsible for all aspects of clinical services within the psychiatry department. Beyond his career with Greenwich Hospital, he also maintains a private psychiatric practice. Highly accomplished in his profession, Dr. Linus Abrams has been named a Fellow by the American Psychiatric Association and is a Certified Master Psychopharmacologist with the Neuroscience Education Institute. Dr. Linus Abrams earned his Bachelor of Arts at Columbia College in Philosophy and Pre-Med. Attending medical school at New York Medical College, Dr. Linus Abrams earned his Medical Doctorate in 1988. In 1992, Dr. Linus Abrams completed his fellowship in Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. Professionally, Dr. Linus Abrams affiliated with numerous organizations, including the Yale New Haven Health System, the Neuroscience Education Institute, and the American Society of Clinical Psychopharmacology. He also takes time to participate in community service through the Pathways, Inc. of Greenwich, an organization that provides housing for individuals with chronic mental illness.
