How was your experience with the doctor?I would give zero stars if I could. If you want to go somewhere that will make you take unnecessary medical tests and then continue to bill you for those tests months and months after your initial visit, then you've come to the right place. The billing department refuses to answer the phone, and they send bills for tests you may not have even gotten. I've never had such a horrible experience dealing with a doctor's office. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. It's just not worth dealing with the headache of mysterious bills popping up out of nowhere for months to come and no help from the doctor's office to understand why.

How was your experience with the doctor?Absolutely the worst hospital I've ever been to. I usually try to appreciate whatever service I pay for but this was just unacceptable. They billed me for $300 out of pocket. This receptionist explained to me that I will be refunded after they file the claim to my insurance company. It has been over a month and still, no word from them or my insurance company. I called the office, no answer. I email the office, no answer. It seems like I got to go to the office myself to get my money back. The entire experience was an agony. Avoid at all costs for your sakes. They'll take your money and waste your time.

How was your experience with the doctor? This place needs to be investigated by any and all oversight agencies and shut down. I don't  want to get too detailed about my experiences with MOM for privacy reasons so suffice it to say that it has been nothing but a source of frustration with trying to see my regular doctor of almost 10 years, getting a prescription filled, test results they also give unnecessary tests just to bill your insurance. They are overall unprofessional, incompetent, and uncaring.  This medical office is just a moneymaking scam.

How was your experience with the doctor? Please Avoid in any Cost . This office is a scam they are fraud . They will bill you a $ 300 and will forget to explain about a new policy they have . They will make an appointment with a wrong doctor and act that it is normal. Doctor will not even call you back about you results you need to call yourself.

How was your experience with the doctor?AVOID at ALL COSTS. I went here for a simple couple of tests with Dr. Cherian. Instead the office sent the wrong code to Quest and then Quest proceeded to do the wrong test and charge me for it. I spent 4 MONTHS trying to get the office to do something about it and they would just send me emails about how things are busy and they are trying. At the end of it all nothing changed. This is borderline insurance fraud to make test mistakes and then charge patients for it.

How was your experience with the doctor?I read positive reviews and thought this place would be great but they are not! I have never felt so judged by a doctor in my life about my weight. When I was there the first time, there was absolutely no indication anything was wrong with my heart, but they talked me in to getting an EKG. After it was done after another appointment that I had to pay for, they found nothing was wrong with my heart at all! And then charge me additionally over $300 for the EKG. This place is a scam to get you into paying for unnecessary medical treatments. I also just found out they billed me twice for a doctor visit from over 2 years ago. I paid in October after not receiving a bill for over a year and they sent me another bill for the same exact thing claiming I never paid it (my credit card was charged) Every doctor I saw there was rushed and did not fully ask me enough questions and seem to use the quickest way to see me and move on to the next patient when I still had more questions. Also every doctor I have been to since has said my blood pressure was completely normal but every time this place took mine with an electric device, it was always high. DO NOT GO HERE!

How was your experience with the doctor?Complete scam and clear malpractice - just walk away.I came in for a routine annual physical, without first consulting Yelp. I thought I could rely on the high ratings the doctor had on ZocDoc. Upon signing in, the clerk explains that she needs to keep my credit card on file and charge $150 because I haven't fully used up my deductible yet. "Policy." I tell her that's unnecessary, because my insurance plan (as do nearly all insurance plans) covers 100% of the cost of routine annual check-ups. Forty minutes after my scheduled appointment time, I'm finally called in. A nurse practitioner comes in to take blood pressure, check weight, etc. She then says she needs to take an EKG. Which she doesn't - there's no reason a healthy 30-year old without heart issues needs an EKG. Just another attempt to pad the bill.I meet with the doctor, who does a few basic checks and chats with me for 5 minutes. At the end, he says after my bloodwork results are available, I should come back to the office to discuss them. Strange comment - no need to return in person and incur additional charges unless something unusual comes back. I say no, unless it's really necessary we can just chat over the phone, if that. The cherry on top is that four weeks after my visit, my bloodwork results are still not available. When they realized I wouldn't be a profit center for them, they seem to have just thrown in the towel.Without exaggeration, the worst reviewable experience I've had, medical or otherwise.

How was your experience with the doctor?Medical Offices of Manhattan is hands-down the most amazing, efficient, well-run doctor's office I have ever gone to. I would never trust my body with any other practice in NYC (or elsewhere for that matter). They are so thorough with their exams that you truly feel like you are being taken care of to the highest degree. I am so grateful to have found this practice and I can't imagine why anyone would go anywhere else!

How was your experience with the doctor?AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I cannot begin to explain the level of hassle, incompetence, and unprofessionalism I've experienced with this sad excuse for a medical office. Unfortunately, I must agree with the same sentiments outlined in every single negative review. This money-hungry practice is a scam and they don't even try to hide it. They're dishonest about billing and coverage, the examination rooms are filthy and unhygienic, they do not inform you of the shadow interns who will observe your exam without your consent, and the snappy receptionists never pick up the phone. Disgraceful.

How was your experience with the doctor?Do not go here. This place is a disgrace to the medical field. They try to sell you on their branding and claim they care about prevention, the whole person, blah blah, it's ALL BS. THEY KNOW NOTHING. You are better off going to CityMD.I experience a real lack of care and complete negligence under Dr. Justin Armanani. I visited their offices early January to undergo my physical. I got bloodwork and received the results at 8 am this morning. Upon receiving the results I saw that among other issues there was a positive result of Lyme disease. Obviously this left me feeling alarmed. I called the office at 830 am and asked to speak with the doctor as soon as possible to learn more about the results. I did not hear back so I called back at 330 pm. I finally got a call back from the doctor around 430. It didn't seem like he planned to reach out unless I had called - which is a bit careless in my opinion. Obviously any patient who sees that in their lab results is going to be concerned - and it would have been nice to hear from the doctor about it, especially because many of the symptoms I mentioned experiencing recently- fatigue and aches - are key symptoms of Lymes disease. When the doctor finally called me back, he assured me that the results were "likely a false positive." Likely. Yet he did not seem keen on investigating to be sure. He also couldn't provide me with a concrete reason that these results might be a false positive. I asked him how he could be sure and if there was a way to confirm. He said he "could look into alternative tests" but seemed completely unconcerned. It was like he did not care to put in any effort to make sure that this was certainly a false diagnosis. Worse, he didn't even seem entirely sure that it was false, and offered no solution to figure it out. He seemed annoyed by the idea of having to see me again and do another test - he didn't even know which kind of test to do. I understand that he is a general practitioner and likely has little to no knowledge of the disease. But it is his job, as a care provider, to offer a solution that puts the patient at ease. He literally said "were you even outside lately?" I said yes, I am frequently out east on Long Island and my mom had Lymes. As if the fact that I lived in the city ruled it out completely, without even really asking if I'd been outside, he made assumptions. I go to Long Island quite often, where ticks and deer are rampant. Then I said, I could just go to my moms doctor, an infectious disease specialist, and he practically blurted out and interrupted me to say "Perfect." As if it was just easier to get me off his case. He did not bother to refer me to anyone or care about any follow up. He said we could cancel my requested follow up appointment. This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. It is astonishing to me that a care provider would be so careless in offering no alternative test to a potentially serious illness. Luckily I am very on top of my health and I visited an infectious disease doctor who confirmed I indeed have the disease. but what if god forbid I trusted this doctors opinion that it was false? Lymes is a disease that, if untreated, can grow to be much more serious. to all - don't make the mistake of putting their health and livelihood in the hands of a non professional at MOM.Worst part is I emailed their "Director of operations" three times and she never responded. Clearly they just don't care......

How was your experience with the doctor? This place is a total scam. Do not go here. I joined when the office first opened as it was near my office. They constantly made me sign up for services that I did not want and would threaten to not treat me if I didn't follow through with their service. Example was an EKG which they said was covered by insurance... nope. I still paid every bill even though it ended up costing me an arm and a leg. After having not been a patient for over 2 years now, I got 2 emails stating I owe them money for services rendered in 2017 for guess what, an EKG that I did not want. Also, expect to never see an actual doctor here as the nurse practitioner's are the only people you see while the doctors sit in the back room. Save the headache and go anywhere else.

How was your experience with the doctor?I DO NOT RECOMMEND. Literally the worst doctors office I have ever been to. I've visited on numerous occasions not just once (despite my continuous negative experiences). I will not be going back. It's very apparent that this office only cares about money. For example, I was ordered to get blood work on 3 different visits within a month, one of which was for a physical understandably. They tried to prescribe me medicine based on something I tested negative for as a "precautionary measure," although nobody in the office could articulate the reasoning for this. Their only suggestion was that I take medicine and come back to get more bloodwork to see if it is negative again.  When I came back for bloodwork only, they charged me a copay (the first practitioner who came in was confused and told me they should refund my money. They did not.)On another occasion, they sent me a $400 bill for a standard sick visit because they sent my insurance the bill under a multiple billing codes that did not indicate that my visit was for a regular sick visit. This allows them to get more money out of both me and my insurance company. To top it off, their waiting times are crazy. Being seen by a doctor 45 minutes after your appointment time is outrageous.

How was your experience with the doctor?OMG never again! Just horrible. My first doctor freaked out after my first annual/physical and sent me to 3 different specialists. I thought it was something serious and life threatening, but when I went to the actual specialists, all of them were surprised that the doctor even sent me there for no reason. I paid over $700 for the 3 specialists out of pocket!!   I changed my doctor who at the next office visit was so dumb that could not answer any of my questions and charged me over $140 out of pocket for the visit. People at the front desk and nurses are extremely rude. Annual/physical is COVERED 100% by my insurance yet they want to charge $150, saying they will refund it within 4-6 weeks, but first want to charge my card for no reason (company policy is we take $150 for no reason and will refund within 4-6 weeks). What kind of BS scam is this? Demanding to put your credit card on file and if you by any chance bring up any other type of health issues during your physical they will charge you!!!!  Changing our primary doctor RIGHT AWAY!!! PEOPLE, STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!! Run as far as you can!!! They're evil and don't care about you at all!

How was your experience with the doctor?Holy hell, this place is a complete scam. I went in for my annual physical and was charged $70, which my co-pay for a specialist. My co-pay for my PCP is $40. They then cancelled the $70 charge and told me my co-pay was $150 because my deductible was $6,000. Fine. I pay that and go in. During my annual physical they asked if anything was wrong, and I told them I had a lingering cough from having pneumonia 5 months earlier. They then ordered an echocardiogram and told me that they would have to charge me another $300 for that test. Finally, my appointment finished and I asked if they were going to draw blood to test my cholesterol levels and they said that only happens during annual physicals. When I told them that's what I had scheduled, they said that because I brought up any other health ailment, I would need to come back for an additional appointment. This place is a scam and I am reporting them to my insurance company. Lest you think this is a rare occurrence, my wife went to location 65th and 3rd and had an almost identical experience the day before. It was only after both of our appointments we realized something was up. She contacted her insurance company and they said that they billed the services to a completely different doctor, they wouldn't disclose all of the codes they used to bill, and that the $150 co-pay was "office policy". You are better off dying than going here and getting scammed. P.S. They asked me 3 separate times if I wanted an STD test or if I had genital warts, which is extremely weird as I said no and they continued to persist.

How was your experience with the doctor?I should have listened to the bad reviews. I went to get my annual physical which I always assumed to be free because it's preventive care. The woman at the front desk told me that's no longer true, insurance companies now want you to pay your deductible even for an annual physical. That was a blatant lie. So they charged my credit card $150 before I even walked in. They wouldn't even put it through my insurance company. I called Aetna while in the office and I think I understand how this scam works.Aetna confirmed that my annual physical is covered 100%. I asked her if getting an EKG was normal at physicals (because of what I read in the reviews) and she said usually not, but if it's needed. What MOM does is have their doctors push EKGs, blood tests & other non necessary procedures. Because of these additional scans, they are able to code your appointment as a regular visit, not a physical, which is why I had to pay my deductible. I left the office and never had my physical, which is a shame because I read good reviews about their doctors. (They did at least reverse the $150 charge). I wonder if Medical Offices of Manhattan ever allows anyone to get a regular annual physical. I don't feel comfortable starting a relationship with this office knowing I'm already being scammed into more test for just a routine physical.

How was your experience with the doctor?I've never been so frustrated with an office before. Making an appointment and the actual visit is okay besides the point that I didn't see the doctor that they told me I had an appointment with. The follow up is ridiculous. I had immunization forms that the doctor had to fill out, said to her that I need them as soon as possible for school and she was very understanding. I get blood drawn and receive my results a few days after...great. Although, the doctor said she will give me a call to review the results and give me a date to pick up my forms, she never does after 2 weeks go by. Of course I call the office and no one is available to speak to me. The front desk ladies say to expect a call the same day.. still no call. This back and forth has been going on for 4 days after my initial call for another front desk person to call me and relay the message from the doctor of my lab results saying I need the mumps vaccine and I have to call the pharmacy to see if they carry it. I call the pharmacy and let the office know right away they have it and make an apt. the following day since again, I need these forms ASAP for school. The day of the apt. I notice the pharmacy still hasn't texted me to pick up my order like they usually do.  I call and no one called in the vaccine!!! The back and forth  has never taken up so much of my time from morning to afternoon, since no one is ever available to talk to me over the phone at that moment. As I write this I am still waiting to get a call back from someone so I can go to my 12:30 apt and get this vaccine.... switching offices.

How was your experience with the doctor? These people are scam artists. I am 23, perfectly healthy, and have no family history of heart disease. The doctor had me do an ekg, an ultrasound of my heart and asked me to wear a heart monitor for a week. They bill your insurance up front before the visit. They refuse to do prior authorizations of prescriptions. Clearly this practice has no regard for patients and puts its bottom line over everything!! Sickening.

How was your experience with the doctor? This place is TERRIBLE. BEWARE! Their patient experience is the worst I have ever encountered. Not only are their billing policies ridiculous (making you pay upfront for costs that you may or may not occur) but their front office staff could care less about helping patients. After an annual physical, my doctor asked me to come back into the office to re-do my bloodwork. When I arrived, I was given no direction and told to sit down. After going back to front desk to ask if I could just go straight to do bloodwork, they directed me to the lab staff who started taking my information, only to tell me I first needed to check in with the original desk staff. When they called me up after waiting again they told me I would need to pay $150 for my visit. This is an upfront collection of part of my deductible that may or may not be needed. At that point I knew going to a different office was a better option, but I was already there and figured I would just pay to get the bloodwork. They took the payment and I asked if I could go up to do the bloodwork, and the staff member said "OH! You're here for bloodwork? We did not need that $150 payment then!". She told me she would refund the payment. Then I again asked the staff responsible for the lab order if I could go up to bloodwork, and she said she would call my doctor because there was no order. I sat for another 15 minutes before going back up, only to learn that my doctor was not there. I will never return to this office. WHAT A JOKE!

How was your experience with the doctor?DO NOT GO TO ANY DOCTOR IN THIS OFFICE. I booked an annual exam through ZocDoc and I don't think they're publishing the negative reviews for doctors in this office. As many people below have said, this office is committing insurance fraud. They checked me in, made me fill out all of the paperwork, including adding my credit card to the system, and then made me wait 30 minutes. I now realize they were trying to get in touch with my insurance company. Right before I was going to see the doctor, the lady at the front desk called me up and said that I have a $2500 deductible. And when I said "but you guys are in-network for annual exam", she said "in this office we conduct tests outside of what is covered as a part of the annual exam including an EKG". All of this is after I just watched someone else storm out mad and not take their appointment because they must have been told the same thing. Anyone who has done annual exam before knows that isn't a normal practice. This wasn't even about blood tests, they're just recommending everything they can to charge you and not the insurance company. I'm reporting them to health.nyc.gov as I can imagine there are many people who feel/felt powerless in this situation and took the appointment and were charged.

How was your experience with the doctor?**ROBBERY** Waited for over 45 minutes for a flu shot (I'm not exaggerating, I should really put an hour here), mind you I had an appointment too which is ridiculous to wait that long. After finally getting called back I figured it would be a quick poke and on my way, wrong-- even longer wait. After getting fed up I attempted to leave, only for a nurse to stop me and persuaded me she would expedite. Finally, I get the flu shot and head to the counter to checkout. After being told I did not have a copay, & that I was good to go I questioned if I should expect any bill that would be abnormal. She said no, just a visit and a flu shot. Simple vaccination. I didn't think twice considering I was only there for a flu shot.. 2 months later I received a $700 bill, I'm not kidding.  Luckily, my insurance company denied a few line items but still was stuck with paying nearly $200 for a flippin flu shot. So much for building a PCP relationship. Straight robbery. Will definitely be complaining further.

How was your experience with the doctor?Went to Medical Offices of Manhattan for a physical. The doctor recommended I get an echo cardiogram to test my heart, and quoted me $400, which I understood wasn't going to be covered by insurance. I agreed. Heart was completely fine. I get the bill a month later, and it is for $850. I call the office, and after much back and forth, they agreed to revise the price. The whole thing felt like a scam, they invent a reason to scare you into running a test, and then try to get as much cash out of you as possible. I will not be back.

How was your experience with the doctor?Don't waste your time with this 4th rate excuse of a medical center.  These people are scam artists.  Exactly what the other reviews said below-- they do talk you into tests that are unnecessary to charge your insurance.  I went to my annual check up last year, they explained that a test needed to be done.  I said, "this is the first time I've ever been to an annual physical where they needed an EKG-- I am a thin, at the time 39 year old woman, exercise, eat healthy, never had an surgeries, etc. Anyway, I asked is it covered by my insurance? They said yes.  I get a bill.  It was not, I was charged an extra $50.  Now $50- not a big deal.  However, when I ask and you say there is no additional cost.  And then I receive a bill and I had to call several times to try to get the charge removed-- you wasted a lot of time and money.  It's the principle of it all.

Everyone in the office has an attitude, never smile, and seem too rushed to care. Mistakes and bad information are given consistently. My doctor, Dr. Braunstein is fantastic and I've put up with the horrible customer service at this office for years only because of the service he provides. He is wonderful, I only wish he set up shop at a different location. Aside from everything mentioned, I was especially "delighted" to receive a "HAPPY HOLIDAYS" email from the office which quickly transitioned into "Make sure your insurance is up to date...As a new year begins, deductibles as well as co-insurances and co-payments, are amounts that need to be collected as per your coverage. I was recommended this clinic by a colleague and went in for my annual physical by Dr Wang. the wait was over 45 mins and I was placed in a room without any update to when the doctor would arrive and went about looking only then she came by. Post the physical i went in to give my blood work and was told that the lab decided to shut early leaving the doctor miffed too. I came back to give in my blood work and was recommended some more tests - it was shameful but every patient's records were fully on display. How was your experience with the doctor?I never leave reviews, but I had such a terrible experience at MOM I want to avoid someone else having the same awful ordeal I had. The main reason I am giving this practice 1 star (if I could I'd give it 0) is because I was billed 500 dollars after numerously asking if my insurance would cover the visit. I spoke to billings in person (since no one picks up the phone). A young woman casually came out with a bill and repeatedly told me I owed $ 500 for "renal" I had no clue what "renal" meant as the doctor never mentioned she'd be looking at my kidneys; it was never communicated to me that I would have a renal exam. I brought my partner who mentioned his father is a doctor (the billings lady seemed impressed by this and feigned she was listening whereas with me she used a broken record technique of repeating "you owe 500 dollars" I explained  that I never consented to a renal ultrasound but wanted to investigate a cyst and the doctor pushed for a "comprehensive ultrasound" what this meant was a useless exam that was unnecessary without addressing my initial concern. After getting the run around without having anyone advocate on my behalf, instead being left feeling like some serious gaslighting was going on, I was told to contact my insurance. Turns out billings made a mistake--I do not owe 500  dollars and if I hadn't investigated I would have been none the wiser. My insurance company called billings and apparently this still cannot be resolved by the woman from billings  because they're is "a hold" on my account. Why billings did not follow up is beyond me. It shows a lack of care and respect which has resulted in me vowing to never return. Bottom line: this practice is predatory, apathetical and the doctor, a poor listener willing to waste your time on unnecessary tests. What adds salt to the wound is I have not been feeling well, so taking time to talk to an insurance company and an unsympathetic billings department as well as get unnecessary testing from an overly keen doctor, all is very taxing. I wanted to receive medical attention as of now my problem has yet to be addressed and I need to find a new GO. I'm disgusted. Please, please, please avoid.

How was your experience with the doctor? They gave me a procedure that was not necessary and never mentioned that it wouldn't be covered by insurance. So that wasn't too good. My doctor wont return my calls

How was your experience with the doctor?I really liked this dr and the office. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, although the appointment is mostly with the nurse practitioner. That’s ok though because i found they were still both very thorough

How was your experience with the doctor? As other reviews can attest, this place is not a good practice- it's borderline scammy. Receptionists make you do all your check-in information yourself on your phone. The exam rooms are like small, dark closets. Even though my doctor was fine, she had me do unnecessary bloodwork after my yearly checkup that wasn't covered by insurance. When I told the bloodwork nurse I sometimes pass out she rolled her eyes and said I better not because she has a lot of people waiting behind me and no time for that. She drew the blood with the door open to everyone in the outer lobby and I've never had that big of a bruise the following week from bloodwork in my life. One weird follow up- the billing system is incredibly fishy. Insurance sent me a check for the laboratory that processed the blood work but the practice insists I have to come drop off the check so someone from the lab can stop by and pick it up in person. Yeah... not standard practice.

How was your experience with the doctor?Had a first visit with Dr Kalik and she was very kind to me. I was recently diagnosed with a rare and debilitating condition and she made some creative suggestions about tests I could do to identify potential root causes for my symptoms. We both agreed the likelihood was low that these tests would reveal any helpful information but it demonstrated to me that she truly wants to help her patients and exercises critical thinking to find solutions. Thanks Dr Kalik for your compassion and brainstorming

How was your experience with the doctor?Awesome experience!! First time patient, Came in a little early but had no trouble signing in with the front, the girls were sweet and said I would be able to be seen , Dr Lisa Alex was so kind made me feel comfortable, felt like it was a pretty thorough examination. Did blood work in a jiffy. I didn't really wait much everyone seemed to be on it. Fast yet efficient! Looking forward to seeing her again in the future!

How was your experience with the doctor?I have been going to this office for the past four years. Overall, I had a rather pleasant experience with Dr. Kini. She's been very helpful and quick with response time. I have been always going to this place on weekdays, this place runs pretty efficiently. I used to work nearby, so efficiency and accuracy is everything that I am looking for.Given the job change, I had to visit during the weekend for the first time. Dr. Kini left a requisition form for me to pick up so I could take my blood test right away next door in the lab. The moment I have arrived, the front desk staff had me waited for 40 minutes to pick up that form even though I had already called ahead and it was ready for me. She just felt like taking some time. When I asked her about it she said she had other patients to deal with when there was no one waiting in line. When I have finally received my form and ready to get my blood drawn, I met the most incapable physician assistant in my life. She told me she is Dr. Kini's PA and has drawn blood plenty of times, yet she's been analyzing my blood vein for a good five minutes before trying to stick a needle in. My blood vein is pretty easy to see, and I have already pointed out to her the place that other lab assistants used to draw the blood from. She decided to pick a new place that's near my bone which I thought was odd, but then I thought maybe she knew what she was doing. The entire process was extremely unclean and my blood was pumping out nonstop after she finished it. She asked me "are you scared of blood" after seeing my blood was pumping out of my vein...I was speechless. There she left a huge bruise a bunch of tries on my vein (picture below): So please DO NOT go to this place on weekends.

How was your experience with the doctor? It's really unfortunate that I have to write this review because the doctor I had, Lisa Alex, was really nice and professional. However, I showed up on Wednesday, October 9th, for a checkup, which was really an STI. Sorry just tryna keep it as honest as possible. She checked me out, they took some blood as well as urine to find out what kind of bacterial infection I had. She gave me a 1 time prescription for azithromycin and sent me on my way. Once they found out what it was, they would treat me further. She said I should receive results by Friday, and that Saturday the office would at least have someone there to treat me. I called and a woman with nasty attitude told me there's nothing she could do. I'm confused and very disappointed. Not only am I still suffering with some of the symptoms of this infection, but I have to go to another doctor to repeat this whole process. Just feels like a waste of time.

How was your experience with the doctor?I have followed Dr. Seilhan from one practice to another, and her diagnostic/care/communication skills are what I look for in a great PC.  The test techs are swift and make you feel comfortable in otherwise awkward situations.

How was your experience with the doctor?Had an appointment at 1:30 and waited in the lobby for an hour for them to tell me they don't take my insurance. Staff was incredibly rude and unapologetic about the situation. I had to go to the desk to ask why I hadn't been seen for 45 minutes and it was only then that they told me.

How was your experience with the doctor?I didn't have a primary care physician, and so I decided to make an appointment at MOM. The reception team are kind and friendly and I saw Patrice Maro, a wonderful, knowledgeable PA, who walked through each of my health concerns and did a great job addressing those concerns. Yes, it takes time and yes, they are thorough. I for one am grateful for this! Thank you Patrice and thank you, MOM!

How was your experience with the doctor?Disorganized, unknowledgeable, and unfriendly office staff. I asked over the phone to verify my insurance and when I got there they hadn't done it and I ended up paying out of pocket and they wouldn't give me an itemized receipt for services rendered. EVERY TIME I go they try to do EKG and Echo and I am a healthy 31 year old who fainted once when she was 15. I used to refer friends to this practice years ago but my PCP left and I was not notified and now every time I go it's something new and inconvenient. Today for instance they will not securely email me some test results. I have to physically go to the practice to get them and I live in a different borough. Nonsense.

How was your experience with the doctor?Run away from this place. They are everything a medical practice should never be. Insulting, rude, and dismissive. Impossible to get a straight answer from anyone - they don't answer the phone, or keep you on hold for ages, and they refuse to give you answers. The engage in disgraceful and most likely illegal billing practices (charge you for tests you don't need, tell you insurance will cover it then hit you with a huge bill), and refuse to refill simple (non controlled) prescriptions unless you come in for more appointments so they can overcharge you and your insurance for more unnecessary visits and tests. Honestly I'm not sure how they haven't been investigated yet and had their license revoked. They are officially the worst.
