Dr. Mark Klion is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon with specialty training in sports medicine. He performs the newest techniques for Knee, Shoulder, and Hip arthroscopy including cartilage repair, regeneration, meniscal transplantation, and labral repairs. He has extensive experience with arthroscopic rotator cuff repairs, shoulder stabilization procedures, and fracture care and management. He is clinical instructor at Mount Sinai School of Medicine and Director of Orthopedics at St Barnabas Hospital. He participates in endurance competitions, including 11 Ironman triathlons, 15 marathons, and many ultra distance running and biking races. He serves as the Medical Director for the New York City Triathlon. He attended St. Lawrence University before completing his medical degree at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He completed residency training at Mount Sinai Hospital and fellowship training in Sports Medicine at the University of Chicago.
