Dr. Melissa Kanchanapoomi Levin is a board-certified dermatologist dedicated to excellence in comprehensive and personalized dermatological care, specializing in inflammatory facial dermatoses such as acne and rosacea and cosmetic dermatology. She was previously the Director of Clinical Research at Marmur Medical on the Upper East Side as well as a private practice dermatologist at both Marmur Medical and Spring Street Dermatology in Soho, both practices in Manhattan. She is a Clinical Assistant Attending Professor at New York University (NYU) Langone Medical Center and a Clinical Instructor at the Mount Sinai Icahn School of Medicine in the Department of Dermatology. Melissa was born and raised in California until the age of ten, when she moved to Bangkok, Thailand, where she studied in international school before returning back to California. She graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from UCLA. She earned her MD from UCSF graduating as a member of Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. After completing internship at the California Pacific Medical Center as the “Best Intern of the Year”, she trained at NYU Langone Medical Center, one of the highest-ranking dermatology residency programs, where she won awards for her research in laser surgery and received the Morris Leider Award as “the best all-around resident” for Excellence in Dermatology.
