Dr. Michael I Jacobs is a Board Certified dermatologist with extensive experience in office practice, research, and teaching. In addition to his position as Associate Attending Dermatologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and Hospital for Special Surgery, he is Clinical Associate Professor at Weill Cornell Medical College. He is also the official team dermatologist of the New York Mets. Dr. Jacobs graduated Phi Beta Kappa, Magna Cum Laude from NYU at the age of 20. He received his medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College at the age of 24. At 28, he both entered private practice and was appointed the Director of Dermatology at HSS, Cornell's orthopedic and rheumatology hospital. Dr. Jacobs is active in the contemporary art world, having participated on acquisition committees at the Whitney Museum, MoMA, Hirshhorn Museum (Washington DC), and the Tate Modern Museum (London), among others.
