Approach

Dr. Ronald Cypher is a native of Butler, Pennsylvania and is a graduate of Butler High School. He did his premedical training at Westminster College. He attended Hahnemann Medical College in Philadelphia, and his residency training was completed at the Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He completed his gynecologic cancer studies at the M.D. Anderson Hospital and Tumor Institute in Houston, Texas. Dr. Cypher did his high-risk obstetrics training at the Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia. He is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He also belongs to the Pittsburgh OB/GYN Society. He is a Diplomat of The National Board of Medical Examiners. Dr. Cypher is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is a member of the American Fertility Society and The Christian Medical and Dental Society. He was a member of the Butler Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees for nine years. He was selected by "Pittsburgh Magazine" as one of six Ob/Gyns in the Pittsburgh region as a "Top Doc". He resides in Butler with his wife, Debbie. He has two daughters. Heather is married and a teacher, with one daughter, Julia. Kristin who is a Physician Assistant, practices in Florida and is engaged to an Air Force pilot. Dr. Cypher enjoys tennis, marine aquariums, pet parrots, photography, the Steelers, the Penguins and babysitting Julia! ("Grand Dude"). He is the recommended OB/GYN provider for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
