Dr. Parr graduated magna cum laude with honors from Brown University where she was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa national honor society. Prior to medical school, she worked as a molecular biologist at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals and later as a research fellow at Columbia Presbyterian Complementary Care Center under Dr. Mehmet Oz. Dr. Parr received her medical degree at Washington University in St. Louis. She then pursued post-graduate training in Internal Medicine at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical College. Her practice was located at Hospital for Special Surgery until she joined 72nd Street Medical Associates in 2013. Throughout her career Dr. Parr has been involved in research projects in molecular biology and complementary medicine. She is currently involved in a project assessing new treatment alternatives in osteoporosis. She remains active in the New York Presbyterian community, teaching and training tomorrow's best doctors.
