Dr. Stephen Cooper is an insightful, compassionate psychiatrist treating patients in Stamford, Connecticut, and the surrounding communities. He received his medical degree from the State University of New York Upstate Medical Center. Dr. Cooper continued his medical education at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center, where he received his psychiatric residency training. Having extensive academic and clinical experience, Dr. Cooper directed the inpatient psychiatric unit at the Stamford Hospital, and during that time, served as the Clinical Director of Psychiatry. He taught residents from the New York Medical College and Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. Patients visiting Dr. Cooper can receive a full range of psychiatric services.
